From October 29 to 30, the second China Regional Science Association regional economics Youth Forum was held in our university, sponsored by the Youth Scholars Work Department of China Regional Science Association and AUFE, organized by SEAUFE and Hefei Advanced Institute of AUFE, and co-organized by the City and County Economic Discipline Special Zone of Anhui University of Finance and Economics. More than 200 experts, scholars, teachers, and classmates from universities and research institutes such as Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Southeast University, Lanzhou University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Northwest University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Nanchang University, Anhui University, Hainan University, Nanjing Audit University, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, Anhui University of Finance and Economics, etc. attended the conference through a combination of online and offline methods.
The opening ceremony on the morning of October 29th was presided over by Professor Li Gang, Dean of SEAUFE. Professor Zhou Jialai, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of AUFE, first delivered a speech on behalf of the school. He introduced the school's educational history, disciplinary development, high-level research platforms, disciplinary construction, and other achievements, as well as the development accumulation and research expertise of our school's applied economy discipline. The subsequent keynote report was presided over by Professor Zhang Changquan, Vice Dean of SEAUFE. Professor Sun Jiuwen, Director of the Institute of Regional and Urban Economics at the School of Applied Economics at Renmin University of China, Professor Zhang Xueliang, Vice Dean of the School of Urban and Regional Sciences at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Professor Shao Jun from Southeast University Professor Li Qiang from AUFE delivered keynote reports titled Scientific Connotation and Strategic Conception of High Quality Construction of Youth Development oriented Cities, Benchmarking World Class Urban Agglomeration to Promote High Quality Development of Yangtze River Delta Integration, Environmental Regulation and Labor Income Share, and New Urbanization Construction ad Urban Low Carbon Governance: Policy Effects and Mechanism Analysis.
